£1 million worth of adult toys has been stolen from a lorry in a lay-by in Northamptonshire.
A lorry that was traveling from Felixstowe to make a delivery to Rocks Off, an adult toy retailer based in Cunliffe Drive, Kettering, has had its £1m worth of adult toys stolen according to police.
The theft took place in the early hours of the morning on 18 September on the A43, between A14 and Broughton village whilst the lorry was parked overnight. In the process, a lock was cut on the trailer.
A statement was made on Northamptonshire Police’s Facebook page, which spoke of the theft.
Of course, many have found the incident to be amusing, therefore, it has been widely shared. Yet so far there’s still been no culprit. Comments have used the pun of the thieves already being “in handcuffs”.
The incident took place between 01:00 and 06:30 BST; detectives are now appealing for any information about the theft.
According to the Rocks Off website, the retailer has production facilities in both the UK and China, with headquarters and warehouse facilities situated in the UK.
The store provides its customers with a variety of adult toys, including vibrators and intimate massagers.
In 2019, the brand was awarded Sex Toy Manufacturer of the Year at the EAN EROTIX awards. This was a competition involving adult products, toys, and companies.
In total, the company has been awarded 31 awards throughout its duration of being open, according to its website.
