Aldi Is Selling Oozy Breaded Camembert For Christmas!

This Christmas, if you’re a lover of cheese you can now rejoice thanks to Aldi delivering to our cheesiest of needs by releasing oozy breaded camembert – and it looks divine!

The German supermarket claims that the “rich and creamy Cornish camembert” is best served with tangy but sweet red currant chutney, plus it’s the perfect thing to snack on during those cold winter evenings.

The breaded camembert is set to be a seasonal fixture upon Aldi shelves, and for £2.15 for a 160g pack, it sounds like a decent deal.

To prepare the camembert, all you need to do is cook the cheese for approximately 16 minutes. To make it even better, the dish comes with a sweet and tangy redcurrant dip that is the most complimentary side.

It turns out Aldi isn’t the only store stocking breaded camembert this festive season. Sainsbury’s is stocking its own branded breaded camembert for a slightly more pocket emptying price of £2.50 per 200g pack. Although, of course, you will be getting slightly more for your money.

Waitrose is also providing for those with a cheesy desire with its permanent edition of two breaded Cornish camemberts in a 200g pack, for £3.49. This is an extra £1.34 compared to the Aldi version.

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to order the breaded camembert through Aldi online, but with 830 stores based around the UK, there’s sure to be one close to you. Find your nearest one by using Aldi’s online store finder.

If you’re after more cheesy products, Aldi now stocks halloumi burgers, fries, and halloumi wrapped in bacon – it’s practically cheese heaven!

In other news, Aldi is also stocking churro makers for just £14.99, which means no more trekking to the Christmas markets and paying extortionate prices!
