Aldi is releasing a new gin which tastes like candy floss and marshmallows, the perfect drink for those with a sweet tooth to sit back and enjoy the bank holiday weekend with.
The supermarket chain is releasing a gin liqueur on Thursday, just in time to celebrate that extra day off.
To make it an even more enjoyable experience the drink is also pleasing to the eye, just shake the bottle to see the gin shimmer and sparkle.
Created by The Infusionist Small Batch, the new beverage is a gin liqueur that will set you back only £9.99 for a 50cl bottle. Which means not only do you get a chance to relax with a drink, but you don’t have to feel guilty about overspending.
It appears it’s already going down a success with gin fans, with many expressing their excitement through social media.

It looks like the unicorn trend is far from vanishing, with Aldi adding another 10 sweet and sparkling spirits to their alcohol collection. This includes a Strawberry and Cream Liqueur; a Spiced Rhubarb Rum Liqueur; Passionfruit, Apricot and Coconut Gin and a Tutti Frutti gin liqueur.
If a candy floss and marshmallow flavoured gin sounds up your street, the Tutti Frutti gin liqueur may also be one to add to your shopping cart.
Made by Didsbury Gin with MasterChef winner Simon Wood, the alcoholic beverage is a combination of sweet and fruity. To take a twist on this classic gin, if you add a generous slicing of pink grapefruit and a hint of orange it should taste amazing.
At the affordable price of £13.99 a bottle, it’s definitely worth a try.
Perhaps if you’re going all out this weekend, you would like a variety of drinks to select from. Therefore making it the perfect occasion to sample a spritz by combining the gin with Aldi’s bestselling Organic Prosecco at £7.99 a bottle, topped off with cool grapefruit juice.
Julie Ashfield, Director of Buying at Aldi UK, discussed the new releases: “As flavoured gin shows no signs of slowing down, we’re thrilled to be partnering with Didsbury Gin to bring shoppers more unique flavour combinations like Simon Wood’s MasterChef winning dessert, Tutti Frutti.
“This innovative new addition to our gin range reflects our commitment to ensuring our customers enjoy the best quality products, without breaking the bank.”
Available as of 22nd August, make sure to grab a bottle from your local Aldi store.
