Amazon is now selling a bracelet that shocks you if you eat too much fast food… If you had a bit of a naughty weekend then this could be just what you need.
Sometimes we all need that little reminder to go easy on the fast food, especially after a weekend when we all tend to undo the good work we’ve put in during the week.
If you feel that you need a hand to tone down your naughtier habits, then luckily, Amazon is now selling a bracelet that will literally shock you into shape.
The Pavlok 2 Bracelet has been designed to help you change your eating habits so that every time you overstep the line the bracelet will dish out a 350-volt electric shock. Or as Pavlok is calling it, a ‘zaptic feedback’.
According to the Pavlok 2 Bracelet description on Amazon, the product will help you “upgrade your life” by helping you “to break habits ranging from smoking to oversleeping” and the electric shock treatment is “based on over 80 years of science-backed aversion therapy studies”.
The Pavlok 2 Bracelet description also says it will help you get on track by allowing you to actually learn from your actions.
The description says: “Pavlok 2 comes with a newer, faster processor, longer battery life, better Bluetooth connectivity, motion sensors that “learn” from your actions, and zap, beep, or vibe functions.
“All so you can not only break bad habits but start building good ones Pavlok integrates with sensors, friends, internet browsers, phone apps, GPS, and more to keep you on track with your goals.”
Sounds a bit intense for a bracelet, right?
In order for the Pavlok bracelet to analyse your behaviors, you will need to download the app for free from either the App Store or Google Play.
All you need to do is simply select the habit that you want to break. If you begin to deviate from your plan, then you will get a shock to let you know you’re overstepping the mark!
Given the recent rise in popularity of watch/bracelet technology, with the Apple Watch and Fitbit able to track your health and fitness levels, it’s a good time for Pavlok to release their version.
If you feel like this could be the gadget that helps you break your bad habits, then you can pick up the Pavlok 2 Bracelet for £193.62, with delivery to the UK being £3.62.
