Asda is now stocking a Pink Gin Cake which has arrived just in time for the spring season ahead of us!
Lovers of gin, it’s time to switch it up a little and thanks to Asda’s latest launch, you can now indulge on a pink gin cake which looks absolutely divine.
Asda, the budget supermarket chain, is now selling a gin-flavoured cake which is available to purchase online or instore for £12. Serving up to 18 people, the cake would be perfect for get-togethers and parties.
Almost too pretty to eat, the boozy treat is made up of layers of Madeira sponge and pink-gin flavoured icing, combined with a sweet jam.
As Mother’s Day and Easter are quickly approaching, this pink gin cake would make the perfect centrepiece at a gathering, or would even be great for jazzing up your average afternoon tea thanks to its pink frosting edible gin bottles.
Asda product developer, Sarah Burns, has stated: “We know our customers love a novelty cake and this one, for adults only, oozes sophistication.
“Enjoy in the evening with a favourite gin and tonic or, for something new, why not enjoy afternoon tea with a twist!?”
