The wait has ended and you can officially buy Baileys latest special edition in the form of red velvet liqueur, which is finally available to purchase in the UK.
This autumn, the Irish cream liqueur company launched a Red Velvet flavoured alcoholic beverage in America, and after a lot of waiting it has finally been launched in the UK.
Everyone likes a naughty treat now and then, and for some, it comes in the form of a red velvet cake. Knowing this, Baileys took peoples’ love for deep red chocolate cake, which has a filling of a delicious cream cheese frosting and collaborated with US brand Georgetown Cupcake.
Of course, the silky smooth drink replicates the traditional flavour of the cupcake, without tasting “too sweet” and to provide the “irresistible richness”, possesses the rich flavour of cocoa.
Coming in 750ml bottles, the red velvet liqueur has a 17 per cent alcohol by volume content – so remember, drink responsibly.
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to pop into your local supermarket to stock up on the deliciously sweet liqueur, but you can order it from drinks retailer The Bottle Club for £17.99.
Any orders that you make will be shipped off on Friday 27 December, so they should arrive just in time for your New Year celebrations.
This isn’t the only special edition flavour that Baileys has introduced to its array of drinks. The brand also sells a limited edition Strawberries and Cream flavour, which should still be available through some online drink retailers.
