A best man was furious when the groom’s bride told him it was best he went to bed after getting far too drunk. Refusing to let the party end, this best man completely flipped out and went on a drunken rampage.
Tomas Rhydian Wilson, aged 29, was the best man at his brother Steffan’s wedding, and he was having an absolute ball until bride, Erin Mason-George, thought it was best to tell her new husband that it was time for bed.
Absolutely losing it, Tomas’s hot-headed temper came out and he began to verbally abuse his new family, before assaulting them when they tried to end the night earlier than he would have liked.
The best man ‘threw punches’ at the bride and then pulled her down the stairs by her wedding dress. He then declared that his brother was ‘no longer a Wilson’ and shouted that he should never have married Erin.
When the manager of Lampeter’s Falcondale Hotel, Matthew Jones, heard the commotion he decided to intervene. He came at the right time as Tomas was then assaulting Erin’s mother and two sisters.
After the dramatic outburst, soldier Steffan Wilson and his teacher bride Erin stopped seeing each other after only four months of marriage. They thought it was for the best to go their ‘separate ways’ after Tomas’ outburst.
A friend of the family said: “The marriage was all over in a day which must be some sort of record.
“They weren’t even married long enough to get a divorce, I’m told they’ve gone for an annulment.
“The groom had a choice to make – either his wife or his brother and father.
“When he went back with them that was it, marriage over.”
This week, Tomas was found guilty of five charges of assault and two charges of criminal damage at the Aberystwyth Justice Centre.
Tomas also had to pay £250 compensation to Erin and £100 to her mother, both of her sisters and the hotel manager.
Well, this marriage may not have got off to a great start but recently a bodybuilder has vowed to marry his sex doll despite their frequent ‘arguments’. Is this also destined for disaster?
