Dad’s will do anything for a quiet life, including dressing as their wives’ and wearing a mask of their wife’s face to stop their baby crying apparently.
We all need a little me time, and this father was no different. In a bid to stop his baby crying whilst the mum was away, one bloke decided he knew just the trick to get a bit of peace and quiet.
In an attempt to stop his baby crying, this dad decided to put on a pair of his wife’s pyjamas and wear a mask of her face, to kid their child it was laid down next to its mum – eh, it’s weird but madly, it works.
In a series of pictures, you can check out how the dad managed to calm his baby by doing little to no work, including using a homemade ‘rocking chair’ whilst he played away on his tablet.
To pull this off, the dad placed the baby in a basket, with both ends of the baskets being tied to furniture using ropes. The dad would then pull on the ropes to create the motion of being rocked for the small child.
In one image, you can see that the man is still playing on the tablet whilst he uses a weighted glove placed on the baby’s back to reassure and comfort the baby.
Now, you can’t just say the dads are coming up with the strange (but amazingly effective) parenting hacks, as one mum decided to trick her kids into being quiet by telling them their glow in the dark PJs needed to be charged by them laying quietly on the floor!
In other news, you can now buy your baby a babygro with a built-in mop, cute and helpful right?
