Video footage resurfaces of Roxane Pallett confronting two boys who she accuses of harassment
A recording has resurfaced of Roxanne challenging two young males on a train for harassing her in the wake of the Celebrity Big Brother punch row.
The former Emmerdale actress has only just faced the wrath of viewers after accusing Ryan Thomas of punching her repeatedly ‘like a boxer,’ during a play fight whilst in the CBB house.
Despite the alleged harassment being almost a year ago, the actress finds herself under fire again from the public for ‘blowing the situation of out proportion.’
Roxanne is forced to apologise over CBB overreaction
Since choosing to leave the Big Brother House after booing fans chanted ‘Get Roxy out,’ Roxanne has apologised publicly to Ryan Thomas and his family for accusing the Corrie soap star of physical abuse, confessing that she ‘got it wrong.’ Breaking her silence during the CBB interview with Emma Willis, Roxanne said she “overreacted” when accusing Ryan of deliberately punching her and that she was ‘truly sorry.’ She said:
I massively apologise to not only Ryan, but his friends, his family, his fans, every single person who watched that and who justifiably saw an overreaction to what wasn’t a malicious act. Because I am sensitive, I mistook what was playful. ‘There was no malicious intention behind that, and that is what I apologise for because I shouldn’t have questioned his motivation. I got it wrong.’
‘When I look back on that footage, as soon as I left the house… I got it wrong. Everything in that house becomes heightened, a look, an action, a comment. All I can say is in the moment, it felt worse than it was.
Celebrity Big Brother winner Ryan Thomas forgives Roxanne
Just days ago, Ryan Thomas was crowned the 2018 Big Brother winner beating Kirstie Alley to the crown. Viewers were delighted to see the 34-year-old take the title, following the ordeal with Roxanne. Ryan was visibly emotional in his exit interview, telling Emma Willis he had ‘no words’ for how it felt to win.
But he revealed he has forgiven Roxanne for her claims, after finally watching the footage back. ‘For me, I have the best network of family and friends, I have the best mates in the world, that’s what’s important to me,’ he told the host. ‘If this person has an issue and a misunderstanding, who am I to sit there and judge? ‘Forgiveness is a big thing so if she wants forgiveness and it makes her feel better than I would give her that. I think she’s been punished enough by the public.’ Ryan also admitted that her accusations – and the fallout – were ‘totally unexpected’ – and left him fearing a call from the police.
Roxanne films the alleged train harassment on her phone
In a video from October last year which Roxanne shared online, the actress filmed a pair of young males after they reportedly started talking about her within earshot.
While it’s not clear what the boys said initially to upset the star, Roxanne was clearly annoyed, saying to the pair at the start of the video: “It’s called voyeurism….. “when people are afraid to say hello so they talk about you not to you. People that lack social skills.”
The boys tried to ignore her as she continued to film them, before one said: “You’ve not been relevant for years anyway.”
But Roxanne was having none of it, replying: “Really? Relevant enough for you to sit down next to me and talk about me, to me.”
The dialogue continues in the following way between Roxanne and one of the accused duo:
Male passenger: Look it’s really surprising to be honest. We’re just, you know, shocked – that was all.
Roxanne: Shocked at what?
Male passenger: You know, you don’t see a celebrity every day do you?
Roxanne: You’ve just told me that I was irrelevant and now you say I’m a celebrity so which one is it? You can’t be both.
Roxanne then moved along the carriage so she was stood in front of the pair as they sat at a table seat on the train.
Roxanne refused to let it go
As they continued to exchange words, the other passengers remained silent and kept their heads down. Roxanne can be heard inciting the boys further. She told them that every person was relevant, before one of the boys asked why she was filming him: “Why are you sticking a camera in my face?”
She replied: “Because I’m documenting the harassment you’ve given to me since you sat down.”
The boy denied doing anything, but Roxanne was then backed up by a female passenger sitting across the aisle.
Roxanne continued: “Yes you have, you’ve been harassing me to the point where my mum and I sat down, and you two proceeded to ridicule me and harass me, make us move then you told me I hadn’t been relevant for years,” she added.
One of the boy’s said he only said it because she was filming him, but Roxanne didn’t let him off lightly.
She retorted: “Last night I was at the Great Scot Awards celebrating people that made a difference. To me, every single person in life is relevant, so you need to educate yourself morally.”
She then warned that calling someone “irrelevant” could lead to depression and mental health problems and the boy seemed to finally concede he had been in the wrong.

The actress has come under criticism from the public with some suggesting that it was she harassing the boys instead of the other way round:
