There are just two days to go until the very first episode of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! airs on our screens and we can hardly wait! Presenters Declan Donnelly and Holly Willoughby arrived last week to get a feel for their new home before the show goes live and yesterday, Holly filmed a video giving away some top secret information on what viewers can expect in this year’s series.
However, while Holly is just about getting to grips with the creepie crawlies she has made obvious she just hates, she may be getting another surprise next week.
Remember Holly and Noel Edmond’s HUGE clash back in 2016?
According to reports, former Deal or No Deal presenter Noel Edmonds may be one of the celebrities making a late exit next week -but things could turn sour, as he previously had a huge fall-out with Holly during an interview on This Morning two years ago.
Back in 2016, Noel appeared on the sofa with Holly and Phil in which he stated they were ‘aggressive, disrespectful and dishonest”.
The presenter was diagnosed with prostate cancer back in 2013 and went on the show to air his views that a great deal of stress and a negative attitude could actually bring on the disease.
At the time, he slammed a Twitter user, asking whether they should look into their mental state of mind to see whether it was to blame for the disease. He wrote to the user: “Is it possible your ill health is caused by your negative attitude?”
Noel later claimed he felt he had been ‘stitched up’ to appear on the show, as Holly and Phil just didn’t seem to agree with any of the points he was making and were seemingly trying to ridicule him.
He suggested that another aid to his recovery was a special yoga mat that cost £2300 – but this statement didn’t go down too well with Phil.
“The problem is Noel: This is all surrounding a machine that costs £2,300,” Phil said. “Obviously people are going to get a little bit sceptical when you’re banging on about this £2,300 box – and you know the people who make it!”
Before Noel chipped in: “Phil if you are unlucky enough to be seriously ill, I promise I won’t be so callous and I will show you respect, sympathy and compassion.”
Noel was outraged and branded the pair as “aggressive, disrespectful and dishonest”.
The star is bound to be voted to do a bushtucker trial at some stage, therefore Holly and Dec will have to be in attendance, as well as making their way into the camp on a daily basis to reveal who’s up for the challenge and who’s been voted out. They will also have to interview Noel when his time comes to exit the jungle.
Noel is rumoured to be entering the jungle with another campmate, which at the current moment is reported to be the reality star, Megan McKenna.
Holly lets slip top secret I’m A Celebrity news
Holly filmed a short video on her mobile phone for This Morning viewers yesterday, claiming that she was having an ‘amazing’ time.
“I’m settling into my new home,” she said. “It’s amazing here! It’s so beautiful. For somebody that’s not that brilliant with nature, I’m sort of fitting in okay.”
She also added that she’s constantly having to swat away flies and is obsessed with checking toilet seats for creepie crawlies, but she’s very much getting used to jungle life.
“Something’s just landed on my arm, eek! There are things that land on you everywhere.” she screeched. “They have flies that bite. Everything bites. Everything wants to eat you.”
Holly who is a mum-three has jetted out to Austraila with her family for the duration of the series but has made no secret of her hate for insects. She swatted away a fly and joked to the camera: “See how relaxed I am with that now?”
As it’s her very first time presenting the show due to Ant McPartlin’s absence, she perhaps revealed a little too much about what viewers should be knowing about the behind-the-scenes action.
“We’ve done a few rehearsal bits, and I’ve done a Bushtucker trial,” she said, full of excitement. “Well, I haven’t done it – but I’ve watched one so I’ve seen crocodiles and stuff.”
She also promised viewers that she will be keeping them updated throughout the series, so we will be sure to see some more secret footage and goings-on in the next few weeks.
She previously claimed that she’s really excited about her new presenting venture, but she’s truly ‘frightened of everything’.
“I’m really excited, I can’t wait to go. I’m scared of everything, but it’s not for me to be worried about that, that’s for the celebrities to be worried about, they’ve signed up for that so it’s their problem, not mine.” she said. “If anything lands on my I’m not going to like that very much, I’m not a fan of the uninvited guests but I’m ready to go and I’m excited for the adventure. I hope [me and Dec are going to make a good team] I hope so.”
She added that’s really looking forward to working alongside Dec in her jungle debut.
“I couldn’t be more excited to have been asked to stand alongside Dec for the next jungle adventure. “Holly said. “I love Ant and want to send him my best wishes and support for a continued recovery. These are big shoes, not to fill, but just to keep warm for a little bit… ”
Who’s entering the jungle this year?
Although the line-up is never usually revealed until the show goes live; this year, the 2018 campmates have been announced already.
