Jamie Oliver is on the hunt for takeaway lovers who want to change their ways for his upcoming TV show.
TV chef Jamie Oliver has opened an application process in the bid to get ‘non-cooks’ to take part in his ‘exciting’ new TV programme.
The 44-year-old took to Facebook to share the greats news: “Guys I’m working on a new TV show and I’m looking for people who eat a lot of takeaways and want to stop relying on them and learn how to cook for themselves!!
“If you know someone who loves food but doesn’t love cooking, click the link for an application form and let me know all about them!!”
The application link to Jamie’s new TV show has further information, which states: “Whoever you are, whatever your age or background, we are looking for non-cooks to take part in an exciting new TV programme. If something is stopping you, or someone you know, from putting that apron on, then we would love to hear from you!”

Guys I'm working on a new TV show and I'm looking for people who eat a lot of takeaways and want to stop relying on them and learn how to cook for themselves!! If you know someone who loves food but doesn't love cooking, hit the link in my bio for an application form, tag them below, and let me know all about them!!
If you happened to be interested and fit the requirements, all you need to do is apply here. You will download and fill out the form which will ask you to attach two photographs: one of yourself and one of your kitchen.
The form then requires to fill in answers to questions such as: What is your favourite food? How would you rate your cooking? What would you most like Jamie’s help with?
Once the form is complete, the application then needs to be sent to email@example.com. All applicants must be 18 or over and a legal resident in the UK.
So far, it appears that the applications are coming in fast, with many people desperate for the chef to show them how to change their unhealthy ways.
One person commented on the Facebook post: “I’m a single parent to a 16-year-old and a 10-year-old. They will never eat the same thing and sometimes I struggle to find the time to be healthy. Helppp.”
Another added: “Hi Jamie Oliver, can I just say that I eat a lot of takeaways. I like to cook but I don’t have the ideas or inspiration to cook up meals pls can you help me thanks.”
Meanwhile, a third said: “Can I nominate my husband, he wants to know how to cook and also enjoy a variety of food, but still, at the age of 45 he struggles with new things and what to do with them.”
However, some people decided to use the comments section to remind everyone of how Jamie Oliver ruined turkey twizzlers on one of his previous TV shows. Regardless of the fact he was trying to a good deed, it caused heartbreak for many.
One commented: “He ruined my childhood by banning turkey twizzlers. He wants to keep his beak out if people like takeaways and can afford them so be it!”
