Earlier this year, fans were shocked to see the state of Katie Price’s home, and although the grade-II listed building was certainly a sight to behold from outside, thanks to special grounds and wonderful architecture, it was a different story altogether once that threshold had been crossed.
More specifically, eagle eyed viewers noticed mounds of dirty washing in the bedroom, and a chaotic walk in wardrobe with clothes everywhere and overflowing from all angles.
They also noticed a discarded plastic bottle and mounds of clutter.
As host Keith Lemon walked outside, fans even spotted horse poo in the driveway and saw that her swimming pool was afflicted with mildew.
The tennis court also appeared to be worn-down and overgrown.
Naturally, fans were quick to detail their observations on Twitter.
One wrote: “Your house is a tip,” while another simply quipped: “Katie Price’s house is minging!”.
A third added: “Wow Katie Price lives like a pig! Jeez women clean up your house! Literally you live in a sh**hole!”.
And despite knowing that the cameras were coming once again, Katie didn’t seem too bothered about cleaning the place up!
Again, her home has come under fire for being a right old mess, and in her new show My Crazy Life, the viewers at home can see that there has been little change in the months that followed her showing on Through the Keyhole, as her dog is seen licking up a raw egg that has been dropped on the floor, and her son almost walking into a ladder as her house is full with clothes.
In the new series, the first show starts with Katie Price’s mum, Amy, trying to get through to her and convince her to do something about how messy her house is as diggers drive around the muddy grounds and one room is absolutely stuffed with clothing on racks and in plastic bags.
Amy said: “What I want you to do is clear this place up because I tell you what – tidy house, tidy mind.”
The show will then give the viewing audience at home a clearer idea, warts and all, of what Katie’s home looks like, with ladders at the door, children’s toys almost bursting out the windows and used bowls of cereal still sitting between mounds of toys and clothing and any other item you could think of.
But wait, friends, because there is more; there are also food packets, such as McDonald’s chips, and mops strewn all over the floor next to furniture that is piled up almost to the ceiling.
Katie said: “My mum’s got a bee in her bonnet because she says the house is messy, but I’m going to invite someone around to help me declutter and get my life back on track.”
She then invites Sue Belton to have a look around and help have a look all over the house to find out how she can live a tidier lifestyle.
Katie said: “I’m so glad you’ve come here today, just look. This house never looks clean because I’ve got junk in so many rooms, this is doing my head in.
“I’ve come from nothing so everything I’ve got means a lot to me so I think, ‘ah, I can’t throw that away.’
“All the time it’s just manic. It’s suffocating me. It’s just stress how can I explain…”
At this she invites her daughter Princess to tell her what she thinks, to which the young girl replies: “It’s messy.”
Katie’s son, Junior, is then asked exactly what he thinks of how dirty the house is.
Though Katie said: “In a way I quite like it, I quite like it because there’s lot of stuff around”, Junior’s reply was far less enthusiastic, as he said: “It’s so random, like what is a ladder doing there? It looks like it’s been there for years.”
The former glamour model also points out that the reason for all the clutter is that she has been so hurt over the years that she wants to keep as much as possible to herself.
She then admits that she needs to “pull my socks up and get things a bit straight in my life.”
She is now having to sell house because of financial worries – she was worth £45m but now…
It has no been reported that Katie Price is being forced to sell off her Sussex mansion to pay off her mounting debts.
The former glamour model is rumoured to be putting her house on the market in order to sort out her finances, according to the Daily Star Sunday.
“Katie’s having to sell her home to recover money…
“I don’t know how much change she’ll see from the sale… as there’s charges on it, plus tax owed.”
Katie bought the house in 2014 for roughly £1.3 million, and it’s believed she took out a second mortgage on the mansion two years ago.
The Daily Star Sunday has now reported a bankruptcy notice was filed against the property in 2016, meaning that the action to be taken against her is “pending” but she hasn’t been made bankrupt.
Several marriage problems and financial worries have apparently taken their toll as reports last year she was once worth £45million, and is now facing going broke as two of her firms banked less than £100,000 combined.
She is currently facing a divorce from her third husband Kieran Hayler which will cost her further.
Katie initially moved into the mansion in 2014 to get a fresh start after Kieran was rumoured to have been involved in his first round of cheating.
The home includes a two-bedroom annexe, horse stables, a tennis court, swimming pool and covers 12 acres of land.
It was featured on Keith Lemon’s Through The Keyhole in February 2018, and the hosue was shown to be filthy.
News of the reported house sale comes shortly after The Sun revealed that Katie was selling her animals to pay off her debts. These animals include llamas, goats, pigs, sheep and her horses too.
