You no longer need to worry about having freezing cold hands whilst typing away in the office thanks to Amazon’s latest product, a heated mouse mat.
You may not have asked for it, but now that you’re thinking about it you’re probably feeling how could you live without it – yes, Amazon’s heated mouse mat is probably going to be a lifesaver, and make you lot more productive at work too. Make sure to tell your boss that when you add it to the expenses.
As temperatures are plummeting, you’re sure to want to turn up to the office in a snuggly dressing gown and cosy slippers – well now you can add a heated mouse mat to the equation.
The USB-powered mouse mat has a built-in warming pad that will ensure your hands are toasty for the mere price of £16.99.
Coming in several different colours, including lavender and coffee, the heated mouse mat can be simultaneously warm and stylish. The heater can even be separated if your employer is generous enough to have the heating on max.
Those that have already purchased this 2019 winter essential have been quick to leave reviews, declaring it an item that you cannot live without.
Andy P’s review stated: “I have a mild form of Raynaud’s and no matter what I do, once I get working at my computer my mouse hand turns to ice in minutes. But no more – this thing works. My only concern is the service life of the card-like heating device (which sits in a pocket inside), but only because gizmos like these aren’t normally built to last. I might update this review later this year once the colder months have passed.
“It isn’t perfect – if you’re used to using a larger mousepad then you could find the range of movement a bit restricted (a wider opening at the top for wired mice would be nice) and it’s easy to nudge about as the underside isn’t non-slip. Also, the price seems a bit steep for the materials used. Still, I’d recommend it if warming your mouse hand is a must as it does do the job.”
Another added: “Brilliant product. My hand was toastie warm without having to use the heat pad. Sitting under an air-con vent the cold air blows continually down on my hand. Using the USB heated mouse mat has solved my freezing hand problem. Thank you”.
Now, this sounds as essential as the paper shredder, make sure your boss knows about this!
If you fancy a quick kip in the office, why don’t you check out the hammock that can be slotted under your desk?
