Kim Woodburn has been the talk of the media over the past couple of months, after a blazing row with Loose Women panellist, Coleen Nolan live on air.
Back in September, Coleen shocked fans when she announced she would be leaving Loose Women after the incident, in which Kim had been invited onto the ITV daytime show to make amends with her, after their fall-out on Big Brother last year.
Although they didn’t have much to do with one another whilst in the BB house, the clashing started to occur when they left and spoke individually to the media.
Kim was reportedly furious that ‘Fag Ash Lil’ a.k.a Coleen, had won the series.
In an interview with The Sun, she said: “I will say this now – How that woman won Celebrity Big Brother when Jedward were sitting there, I have no idea! Public, I don’t know how you let that boring, Fag Ash Lil’ – with what I know now to be a rotten mouth about her about me – win. She shouldn’t have won. It should have been Jedward.”
A reminder of the Loose Women spat between Coleen Nolan and Kim Woodburn
On 29th August 2018, Kim appeared on Loose Women upon being told that Coleen wanted to talk about their misunderstandings with the hope they would make up.
However, things didn’t go as planned and Kim started crying when talking about her terrible childhood.
“I had a very very sad childhood, I had a brutal childhood,” she told the audience, while Coleen could be seen whispering: “We got this every day as well” and “She’s going to cry in a minute”.
Kim then stormed off the set almost in tears and shouted back that Coleen was a “piece of filth”: “I wouldn’t want to sit and talk with lying trash.” she roared “She’s a horrible person. You are trash”.
In light of the on-air spat, Coleen was faced with serious death threats from online trolls and decided that she needed to take a step back from public appearances. As a result, Ofcom received no less than 3000 complaints; with many accusing Coleen of bullying the star.
Viewers even started a petition to get Coleen sacked from her Loose Women spot, while Kim went on to tell The Sun: “I was ambushed, it was disgusting. It was like a circus and I was there for some cruel entertainment. I want Coleen and her sister fired.
“They could have stopped that show. The one who had the ear mic could have stopped it. But they did nothing to curb it. I was shown cruelty again by that woman. I’m embarrassed once again. And I’ve cried on TV once again.
“I do go at people if they go for me. I hope I never live to see the day when a human being in her 50s and her sister could mock a lady sobbing on TV. They should not be on that show. And I will do all I can to get them off it.”
She went on to suggest that she believes Coleen and her sister Linda who also appeared on the panel show that day, were ‘mocking her’.
“I was told I would be going second so it threw me. I was fine to continue and tried to explain my piece. But then I heard Coleen and Linda mocking me when I was talking about my childhood and young adult life. They should have stopped it.
“They had a horrible look on their face. They were mocking me. I’d like to see them both fired. When you can do that, the cruelty, God gracious I was very sad today.”
Coleen also spoke to The Mirror about her side of the story: “Anyone that knows me knows I’m not a bully. That would be the most hurtful thing people could call me.” she said.
“I didn’t want to do the reunion. It was the producers who said she wanted to make peace. I agreed because I was happy to draw a line under past differences’, referring to the pair’s fractious relations in the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2017. From the moment she arrived, it was clear Kim didn’t want to make up. Now I wish I could go back in time and not do it. It was ugly, upsetting and unpleasant for everyone.’
Coleen also added that she wishes Kim well and has no hard feelings, but would have preferred if they had never met in the first place.
Kim is set to return to TV this week
Like Coleen, Kim has been keeping a bit of a low profile in recent months but is certainly in high-demand after gaining such a great deal of attention.
Channel 5 producers have secured her to make a return to Big Brother this week – so don’t miss it.
It’s been said that she is going to be part of a special task on Monday and should make the reality show truly go out with a bang. After 18 years on air, the very last series is set to finish on 5th November.
Social media reactions to Kim’s Big Brother comeback
“Unfortunately BB will give her airtime simply just to get more viewers but I’m glad I don’t watch it because I can’t bare to watch that vile woman again on TV after watching what she did to Coleen on loose women she’s absolutely horrid & I for one hope to never see her again on tv”
“She’s an attention seeking nobody who brings decent people to tears. I love BB but would give that episode a miss. It’s a big huge mistake bringing her back.”
“Of course she will do it, money seems the answer to anything for her. She doesn’t care what people think. I can’t stand her, she is rude apart from a lot more. Don’t know why TV wants her on anything”
“She is totally evil..Why would they bring her back. Has a very nasty mouth on her. I have watched all of this series but I will NOT be watching when she is on”
