Bond 25 will see Lashana Lynch being introduced as the first female taking on the 007 role.

The actress will star alongside Daniel Craig in the next James Bond film, as she plays an independent and career-driven woman.

A media insider reportedly told the Daily Mail: “There is a pivotal scene at the start of the film where M says ‘Come in 007’, and in walks Lashana who is black, beautiful and a woman.”

According to the official synopsis, Bond (Daniel Craig) will be retired and living in the lap of luxury in Jamaica until the arrival of Lynch, who is set to instruct the iconic spy on his final mission.

Although Lynch isn’t taking over the role of James Bond, she will be taking over the title of 007.

It’s been dubbed a clever narrative move by the producers and screenwriters, as it will make women finally feel that they are being represented as dominant within the franchise.

But not everyone is happy about the latest move, including Ben Shapiro.

The Right-wing commentator argued in the Daily Wire that it ruins men’s opportunity to have the ‘wish fulfilment fantasy’.

He remarked: “But that was always the appeal of Bond — that in every movie he was going to somehow seduce the most beautiful women in the movie into bed with him.

“And this is what made him an idol to millions of men who, of course, would like to seduce beautiful women but are incapable of doing so because there’s a natural challenge to it.”
