Lidl has launched a festive pizza topped with pigs in blankets which is perfect for the Christmas period.
Lidl is launching the pigs in blanket pizza nationwide on Thursday 5 December, which is pretty much the Christmas miracle that we never knew we needed.
Bringing together two of the nation’s favourites, pigs in blankets and pizza, this new dish from Lidl makes the perfect backup plan if you burn the turkey this Christmas Day.
Lidl’s Pigs In Blankets Festive Pizza sounds absolutely mouthwatering with a stonebaked sourdough base and crust, which is topped with a rich Mediterranean style tomato sauce, red onions, some festive cranberry sauce and of course, pigs in blankets.
The budget supermarket is selling plenty of other pigs in blankets inspired dishes, including a yard log pig in blanket (£4.49), chicken in blankets (£2.79), and a six-pack of RSPCA outdoor bred British pork stuffing parcels (£2.79). These treats are expected to arrive in stores on December 19 nationwide.
