Puma’s Latest Trainers Go Viral As They ‘Look Like Adolf Hitler’

Puma’s latest trainers have gone viral after people have said they ‘look like Adolf Hitler’, the leader of Nazi Germany.

Over time, there was always going to be something that would crop up and unfortunately look like the evil dictator. From cats to a burnt piece of toast, but a pair of shoes… seriously, what were the designers thinking on this one?

Named Storm Adrenaline, the women’s designer trainer has a simple design of white, green, and grey. Yet on the toe and tongue of the shoes, people say there’s a striking resemblance to the infamous figure in history.

Currently, the trainers are retailing for £75 in the UK and $44.99 over in the US.

Since the trainers have been shared online, the trainers have caused quite the uproar.

On social media, one person commented: “Eight out of ten on the Hitler scale.”

Now that’s a scale no one wants to be on.

While others are even saying the name of the trainers was a bad decision. Titled the Sturmabteilung, people have argued it evokes the idea of the Nazi paramilitary wing, as the title translates as Storm Detachment.

A former owner of the style of trainer wrote: “I never noticed. I used the shoe twice and never realised it until now. I have gotten rid of it. I’ve already sold it.”

Another customer says Puma should apologise for not spotting the error. They said the company should speak out and confirm whether or not it’s some type of ‘publicity stunt’.

But others have insisted there’s no resemblance, with person commenting: “Adolf Hitler shoes? I did not see it directly. I think it’s a bit far-fetched. Good job I have Adidas, not Puma.”
