Meghan Markle and Catherine Duchess of Cambridge do not get along according to rumours and it is said that their dislike of each other is causing a growing rift between brothers William and Harry.
Whilst both are married to Royal brothers, it’s seems the similarity stops there. The women are allegedly “very different.”
Insiders reveal what exactly is causing the rift.
Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle are chalk and cheese.
When it comes to comparing the Royal sister-in-laws, Kate and Meghan they are so different in so many ways that it makes it easy to see why they don’t get along.
The two women are said to have very little in common and the lack of common ground between the two may explain their choices to live separate lives despite living under the same room at Kensington Palace.
Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge:
English rose Kate Middleton grew up in Berkshire in the home-counties. Her father Michael, was born into a wealthy family with ties to aristocracy and went to the esteemed Clifton College in Bristol.
Kate attended successful boarding schools and went on to gain a university place at the St Andrews in Scotland where she subsequently met her now husband Prince William. They were both studying Art History at the university.
After graduating, Kate briefly worked for Party Pieces, a party goods supplier owned by her parents.
A year later, Kate got a job as a part-time accessories buyer for London-based clothing store Jigsaw Junior.
William and Kate enjoyed a long courtship before tying the knot in 2011. Since then, she has been carrying out Royal duties and is a full-time Mum to her 3 children: George, Charlotte and Louis.
Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex
Meghan Markle (born Rachel Meghan Markle) was born and raised in Los Angles. Her mother is a social worker and yoga instructor whilst her father was a television director of photography and lightening.
Markle’s parents divorced when she was six years old.She has two older paternal half-siblings, Samantha Markle and Thomas Markle. It is reported that she is estranged from both.
37 year old Meghan has had a successful acting career. From 2011 to 2017, she played her most well-known role as Rachel Zane on the American legal drama series Suits.
Megan married American actor and producer Trevor Engelson in 2011 before separating after just 2 years. Her engagement to Prince Harry was announced in 2017 and the couple wed in May 2018.
Meghan is known for being an outspoken feminist
Meghan is a self-confessed feminist and a keen advocate for gender equality. In her role for UN Women, Markle met with Hilary Clinton to discuss raising the issues around gender equality. She has visited Rwanda, a country that has the highest percentage of women in parliament and where she met female refuges.

Weddings are notorious for stressing out the bride and groom. But the stresses of the Royal wedding this year between Harry and Meghan is said to have effected those around them and has resulted in strained relationships.
It is reported that a bridesmaids dress fitting for Princess Charlotte left her mother Kate in tears.
As part of the preparation for her big day, Meghan was asked to choose a tiara from the Royal collection. When she chose one with sparkling emeralds, she was told she would have to choose another.
Prince Harry jumped to his future wife’s side and raised his voice to staff, saying: “What Meghan wants, Meghan gets.”
It is said that the Queen was forced to step in and put her grandson in his place. Whilst Prince Charles, who is said to be “completely taken” with his new daughter-in-law.
Tense living environment
The Royal couples having been living together at Kensington Palace in London since the wedding of Harry and Meghan and things haven’t been going smoothly.
Insiders reveal that the relationship between the Royal couples is “extraordinarily tense” with the Princes’ strained relationship a key reason for the friction.
Of the Royal brothers, a Royal insider has revealed: “They have had quite a few arguments.
“This is about Harry pulling away from his brother.”
The Princes have always been known for being extremely close. Harry often joined William and sister-in-law Kate on engagements before Meghan came on the scene.
All change since Meghan has arrived on the scene
It has been suggested that the friction between the Royal couples has been caused by Meghan driving a wedge between brothers Harry and William.
Allegedly, the brothers have had a few arguments over the last few months and has been suggested that Harry was annoyed that his brother had not “rolled out the red carpet” for Meghan as the Duchess of Sussex and welcomed her more with more enthusiasm into the Royal fold.
A source said of Kate and Meghan: “They try their best to get along but they are two people from wildly different places, so it is perhaps inevitable that they will rub each other up the wrong way.”
And rubbing each other up the wrong way has had an inevitable effect on the relationship between the brothers.
36 year old British Kate knows the drill in falling in line with the Royal Family rules. Whereas outspoken Meghan is used to a Hollywood lifestyle and greater freedom.
The former actress is said to “snap” easily and bombards Royal staff with 5am emails.
Duke and Duchess of Sussex are moving away from William and Kate fishbowl lifestyle
In the New Year, it has been reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to move to Frogmore cottage ahead of the birth of their first child.
The cottage is 25 miles away from Kate and William. It is a 33 acre estate in the grounds of Windsor Castle Home Park.
Kensington Palace has said: “Windsor is a very special place for their Royal Highnesses and they are grateful that their official residence will be on the estate.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expecting their first born in April 2019.
