The camper van which was used by Max and Paddy in Phoenix Nights has been spotted for sale on eBay, which has had fans going manic.
The motorhome made its final appearance in the last episode of Peter Kay’s cult hit comedy back in 2002, as Max and Paddy graduated onto a bigger van for the spinoff show Max And Paddy’s Road To Nowhere.
The Ford Transit camper van was bought four years ago by and named “Maddy” by current owner Denis Cartledge, he decided to put it up for sale as he felt that he didn’t have the time to maintain it to a good standard.
“With Peter Kay doing the Phoenix Nights charity screenings, I felt like now is the right time,” said Ms Cartledge.
“As much as I love her, I can’t maintain her, so hopefully someone can keep her on the road and take her to rallies and things like that.
So far, the camper van has done 98,000 miles on the clock and is due to have an MOT in March 2020.
The camper van is up for bids at this very moment and at the time of writing, it has reached £5,200. However, the minimum that Ms Cartledge wants to sell it at has not yet been met.
If you fancy getting your hands on the ultimate piece of Phoenix Nights memorabilia, check out the listing online and place a bid.
If you need a little persuasion, then maybe the fact that product description confirms that you won’t need to pay council tax will be enough to make you put a bid down!
