A son has been glueing his dad’s stuff to the ceiling and with each day that passes when he doesn’t notice, he adds another item. This has to be the ultimate but simple prank to put into action!
In a cruel but hilarious trick, a son decided it would be amusing to stick an item of his dad’s to the ceiling, and for each day he didn’t notice, he would add another as punishment.
However, he didn’t just hide them anywhere – he stuck them in plain sight but just a little out of reach… on the ceiling.
The son, known as SeamanTheSailor, shared his practical joke online by documenting each stage of the cruel trick through Reddit.
He posted: “I stuck my dad’s glasses to the ceiling. For every day he doesn’t notice I will add another of his possessions.”
And one person responded: “Well how is he going to see? His glasses are up there.”
The prankster son revealed that he wasn’t that cruel and he’d only stuck his dad’s reading glasses up on the ceiling, not glasses he would need to get about.
However, the reading glasses were just the beginning.
Later on, SeamanTheSailor elaborated on the prank, saying: “Day two of sticking my dad’s possessions to the ceiling until he notices. This is his phone clip.”
Users were glued to the social media site, keen to see how the joker’s prank would play out as the days went on. Surely there had to be one item that this dad would desperately need and couldn’t live without. Therefore, ending the joke.
But another day went by and the Reddit user shared a picture of a shoe attached to the ceiling, which made the users presume he must have another pair as there still seemed to be no announcement of the dad finding out.
Yet there is one item that people will search the end of the earth to find. Yep, that’s right. The TV remote.
Finally, he had discovered the object which would trigger his poor dad.
A final post was added to the ongoing story, stating: “Well boys it was a good run, but all things must come to an end.”
He then added: “He called me a cheeky c***, then we had a beer together and I [showed] him all the comments on my posts.”
The prankster then went on to thank everyone that had been checking back daily to follow up on the progress of the practical joke, and he also filled in his fans on how he managed to get the objects not to fall down, saying: “Thanks for the support. Also, to everyone asking how I stuck his things up there, I used Blu Tack and some command strips for the shoe.”
