According to a recent study conducted by celebrity beauty expert, sperm can be used to help reduce wrinkles.
If you’re one of those who have a strict beauty routine and always after younger-looking skin then you’re in luck. Kind of.
According to celebrity beauty expert, Chelsee Lewis, there is a new skincare treatment that will “boost oxygen and improve circulation to the skin, which will give you an immediate glow”.
So a new treatment that will give you all that and younger-looking skin? Sounds amazing right? Well, that is until you realise the treatment in question involves rubbing sperm into your skin.
The beauty expert whose clients include the likes of Stella McCartney, Suki Waterhouse and Gwyneth Paltrow, spoke to the MailOnline about her new range of skincare treatments, varying from the more traditional method of splashing ice and cold water on your face to the fairly bonkers idea of a ‘sperm mask’.
Amazingly though, the sperm mask does seem to come with a whole range of benefits.
Chelsee Lewis stated: “Sexual intercourse helps the stress hormone but also helps to balance the hormones and improve collagen production. But you can go one step further with a sperm mask. Yes, you heard right!
“Using your partner’s sperm as a mask is full of a compound called spermine, which is an antioxidant which can help reduce wrinkles, smooth the skin, prevent acne or spots and give you overall healthy-looking skin.”
We’re not ones to argue with science, so there you have it!
And it’s not just a sperm mask that Chelsee is offering to her clients. She also suggests a method called ‘Oil Pulling’. For those of you unfamiliar with the term or the treatment, Chelsea explains: “Take a teaspoon of coconut oil first thing in the morning before brushing your teeth on an empty stomach. Swish this around the mouth for 15 to 20 minutes.
“You will feel your lower face starting to ache as it’s exercising the lower muscles in the face. If you stick to the same regime on a regular basis you will feel your face starting to get tighter”.
The benefits of this treatment supposedly “boosts energy, gives you whiter, stronger teeth and helps clear the skin of impurities, acne and rashes”.
If these don’t seem like the sort of thing you’re into though and let’s face it, no one will blame you if they’re not, then Chelsee offers a traditional range of treatments too, including splashing ice and cold water on your face which will apparently “leave your skin feeling tighter and brighter” and will also help your makeup “sit beautifully”.
So there you have it, a real insight into the world of beauty treatments. And we’re not sure what to think of it.
