Sundance Film Festival: London returns in 2019.
London’s Picturehouse Central has been the host of the infamous film festival for the past three years and the venue will once again host the 2019 Sundance Film Festival: London from 30th May- 2nd June.
Film fans and festival goers will be able to purchase their tickets from today from picturehouses.com/sundance at Early Bird prices and the Festival Pass guarantees access to the Festival’s films and special events, priority booking, access to the Picturehouse Central Members’ Bar and discounts on food, drinks and snacks during the festival. The ‘VIP Pass’ gives access to EVERY film and special event at the festival, plus all parties, a Picturehouse Central Membership, a goodie bag and more.
Last year’s Sundance: London was a huge success, with over thirty actors, actresses and directors attending the festival to introduce their films and take part in their respective Q&A’s, which included the likes of Idris Elba discussing his film Yardi and Toni Collette for Hereditary and this year the festival looks set to continue it’s aim to represent more diversity in the industry. Of the 112 feature films that are being shown in Utah for The Sundance Film Festival, 45 are from first-time directors, 40% are directed by women, 36% are directed by a filmmaker of colour and 13% identify as a member of the LGBTQ community.
