The first trailer for Scoob! has just been released and the reaction is mixed!
Warner Bros has just released what could become one of the most talked-about trailers of the year.
There are two reasons why trailers get people talking, it either looks perfect and gets people immediately excited, we’re looking at you Avengers: Endgame, or it turns into an absolute hate-fest which ends up resulting in pushing back release dates after post-production changes, we’re now sadly looking at you, Sonic The Hedgehog.
Well, the first trailer for Warner Bros Scoob! has somehow, incredibly, managed to fit perfectly into both camps.
Scoob! brings us an origin story like no other, the story of one of the most beloved cartoon characters of all time and the beginnings of one of the best investigation teams around, Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc gang.
In the brand new trailer, we see the beginnings of the unlikely, fresh-faced duo of Scooby-Doo and Shaggy as they meet for the first time. The pair embark on a journey of friendship and working together with their pals Fred, Daphne, and Velma as Mystery Inc they begin to solve some mysteries.

If the concept of a Scooby-Doo origin movie isn’t too baffling of an idea to get your head around, then maybe the cast will be. Incredibly, the A-list voice cast includes Zac Efron as Fred, Amanda Seyfried as Daphne, Gina Rodriguez as Velma and Will Forte as Shaggy.
And the impressive, if slightly surreal casting doesn’t stop there, with the likes of Mark Wahlberg as Blue Falcon, Jason Isaacs as Dick Dastardly, Ken Jeong as Dynomutt, Dog Wonder, Tracy Morgan as Captain Caveman and Kiersey Clemons as Dee Dee Sykes will all be joining the cast.

It is certainly interesting to see that as well as the Mystery Inc. gang, there will be more classic Hanna-Barbra characters, such as Dick Dastardly and Captain Caveman brought back to the big screen.
It’s not the first time a

As you can see, this time around Warner Bros has opted for an animated approach and will be brought to us by Warner Animation Group, whose hits include The Lego Movie franchise and Storks. The studio also has a Tom & Jerry movie scheduled for release in 2020 and the much anticipated Space Jam 2 which is set for release in 2021.
