You can now buy a Lotus Biscoff cheesecake next time you pop into your local Waitrose – and it looks delicious.
Every time you think Lotus Biscoff can do no better they go and surprise you again with something even more scrumptious.
It looks like Britain’s obsession with Biscoff won’t be fading anytime soon thanks to Waitrose’s partnership with the English Cheesecake Company. Together they have released a new range of yummy treats which includes a mouthwatering Lotus Biscoff cheesecake.
The Waitrose website has a description of the product, which makes it sound even more tantalising: “Creamy vanilla cheesecake swirled and topped with delicious Lotus Biscoff spread and crumb on a crunchy digestive biscuit base.”
Originally £5, you can now purchase the ‘Vanilla Cheesecake with Lotus Biscoff 6″ Cake’ for £4 until the 5 November. Think about all you could do with that extra pound.
If you’d prefer something a little smaller to snack on, the partnership has also released a series of cheesecake slices in packs of two. This includes chocolate and salted caramel slices, Sicilian lemon mascarpone slices and even vegan cookies and cream chocolate cheesecake slices too. The slices range from £2.63 to £3.09.
It appears the range has gone down a treat with fans, as many have shared their views on the new products through the Waitrose website.
Rush said: “Lovely mixture of crunch and creaminess. Quite sweet, so those who don’t have a sweet tooth should be aware that it may not be for them.”
Saffron Walden added: “It appears from the reviews so far that you either love this or hate it. I love it. I agree it isn’t the usual ‘cheesecake’. It is different. It is sweet. You don’t need a large slice which just means it lasts longer…. To me it has a lovely flavour and is not at all ‘bland’ as described previously. Just a matter of taste. You can’t please all the people all the time but it definitely pleases me :)”
Now seriously, what are you waiting for? Head down to your local Waitrose and treat yourself.
