Percy Pig dessert sauce now exists and is available to buy at M&S.
The pink squirty sauce, which tastes just like the sweets, has been created to top onto pretty much anything, including cupcakes, ice cream and even pancakes.
Costing just £2, it’s also vegetarian and supposedly tastes ‘absolutely delicious’.
M&S Launches Pink Percy Pig Pancakes Made With Jelly Pieces & Dessert Sauce
An M&S spokesperson stated: “The nations favourite pig just got saucy and this Percy Pig dessert sauce is absolutely delicious! Brighten up your January with an extra drop of pink and ‘Percify’ any dessert!”
The release of the sauce comes after the launch of the Percy Pig Christmas advent calendar. The item included 23 milk chocolate shaped Percy piggies and a packet of the sweets too.
Percy Pig confection has been around since 1992 and is now deemed a British staple. According to the supermarket chain, over 300million pieces of Percy Pig merchandise are sold each year – which equates to around 10 sweets per second!
It was only recently that M&S confirmed the sweets had been made completely vegetarian, as all traces of animal have reportedly been removed. However, the store promises they will still taste exactly the same.
