Next time you’re booking a holiday, make sure to reach for the sky by checking if a Disney-themed plane is available to fly out to your holiday destination.
For many parents, knowing that they have to take their little ones on a long-haul flight can be a distressing experience. Well, thanks to particular airlines, this experience could be a whole lot easier when the plane is decorated entirely Disney-themed – making for a wonderful travel experience that the kids are sure to enjoy.
WestJet has designed a plane that is entirely dedicated to the animated film Frozen, which actually shimmers and shines as the aircraft is in motion.
The website has a description of the Frozen-themed plane, and what the process behind making it was: “Over 170 gallons of paint were used to create the cold-to-warm scene on the Disney Frozen-themed plane. There were 23 colours used in the design and sparkles were added to sections of the paint to show movement as the aircraft flies through the sky. A team of painters came together from Canada, the United States and Germany to bring this livery to life.”

If it also took you several years to get ‘Let It Go’ out of your head, maybe you should check out the Toy Story-themed plane that is in partnership with China Eastern Airlines instead.
The plane has in-flight entertainment and is colourfully decorated from head to toe in Toy Story illustrations. It certainly makes for a special flight experience when traveling to Shanghai Disney Resort.
In other news, Disneyland Paris is set to have it’s very own Avengers-themed land, which looks absolutely incredible.
