Aaron Carter made a chilling prediction about his own death years before he tragically died aged 34.
The singer-turned-rapper, who is the younger brother of Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter, was found dead on November 5 at his home in California.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told TMZ that a house sitter found his body in a bathtub and called the authorities.
His cause of death is currently being investigated.

Following the tragic news, his family released a statement to The Independent.
It read: “We are extremely saddened and shocked to confirm the passing of Aaron Carter today. At the moment his cause of death is being investigated.”
It continued: “We ask that you give the family time and they will have more information when available. We cannot express the outpouring of love coming in.”
While Carter’s older brother, Nick, said his ‘love for him as never faded’, despite their ‘complicated relationship’.

Taking to Instagram, the ‘I Want It That Way’ singer penned: “My heart is broken. Even though my brother and I have had a complicated relationship, my love for him has never ever faded.
“I have always held on to the hope that he would somehow, someday want to walk a healthy path and eventually find the help that he so desperately needed.
“Sometimes we want to blame someone or something for a loss, but the truth is that addiction and mental illness is the real villain here.”
He added: “I will miss my brother more than anyone will ever know. I love you Chizz.
“Now you can finally have the peace you could never find here on earth….I love you, baby brother.”

The ‘I’m All About You’ singer opened up about his mental health battle on The Doctors, as reported by Men’s Health.
He reportedly said he had been diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, manic depression, and anxiety.
Carter went on to list a number of prescription drugs he had taken, which included Xanax.

While the child star, who starred in the Lizzie McGuire show, was open about his mental health battle, he was also honest when it came to the topic of death.
In 2017, Carter was interviewed by US Weekly and revealed that he had dealt with a ‘lot of trauma, a lot of loss, a lot of loneliness’, which is when he made a chilling comment.
“I thought I would die by 30,” he said. “Even when I was 13, 14, I thought, ‘Oh, my God. I’m going to die’.
“Life, it was pretty tough.
“I dealt with a lot of trauma, a lot of loss, a lot of loneliness. I just felt like I needed to get away.”
Carter was just nine years old when he released his self-titled album in 1997.
This was followed by an album in 2000 which ended up earning triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. It included songs such as ‘I Want Candy’.
Carter’s final studio album, ‘Love’, came out in 2018.
In 2021, the musician became a father to his son, Prince, who he shares with Melanie Martin.
