Adele’s appearance on The Graham Norton Show on Friday night left viewers with the same complaint, according to social media.
The singer, who recently faced a backlash over her BRITs acceptance speech, was accused of ‘taking over’ the programme by viewers.
Taking to Twitter, one penned: “Is it just me or is Adele turning into an unbearable overpowering obnoxious irritating diva?”

“Adele just ruined this episode of The Graham Norton Show, ‘The Ultimate Annoyance’ should be her new song title,” penned a second.
“Jesus, Adele is still blabbering on about her ‘difficult’ life,” added another. “Give the others a chance for f*** sake.”
“I love how the whole show is about Adele #GrahamNortonShow,” a fourth remarked.
Other viewers took the chance to blast the star for cancelling her Vegas residency, with one saying: “I used to love Adele but after she disappeared up her own a** my respect for her also disappeared.
“I know if I’d have caused my fans to lose thousands of dollars I’d have been a damn sight more apologetic than she was.”

However, some took to the social media platform to share their admiration for the musician.
One fan gushed: “Everyone else go home. We only want to hear Adele stories #GrahamNortonShow.”
A second agreed, adding: “Adele is such a beautiful lady.”
After the show finished recording, the 33-year-old shocked punters by showing up at London’s G-A-Y nightclub.
During her appearance at the venue, she took to the stage and danced on a pole.
Adele also joined RuPaul’s Drag Race star, Cheryl Hole, in judging a competition.
