Adele shocked punters at London’s G-A-Y nightclub as she took to the stage and danced on a pole while partying with friends, days after she was branded ‘anti-trans’ for her BRITs acceptance speech.
The superstar, who is believed to have filmed The Graham Norton Show hours before, helped judge a competition alongside RuPaul’s Drag Race star, Cheryl Hole.
According to the Daily Star, a fellow partygoer said: “Adele was absolutely loving the event. She was having a great time with friends and loved watching the show.

“After the contest was over she stormed the stage and the crowd went wild. No one was expecting a music icon to be there.”
The 33-year-old was also filmed asking if she could ‘have the final say on who wins’ during the stage show.
Cheryl Hole, who shared the stage with the ’30’ hitmaker, later posted on Instagram, saying: “Confirmed @Adele was devastated I was eliminated on Drag Race too. Love you divalina.”

Earlier in the week, the star’s fans were worried she would be ‘cancelled’ after her speech at the BRITs where she declared she was ‘proud to be a woman’.
Accepting her Artist of the Year award at the first gender-neutral version of the ceremony, she said: “I really wasn’t expecting this one at all. I want to say a massive congratulations to Little Sims. Dave, Ed, Sam, I’m so proud to be in your company.
“I love being an artist. I can’t believe it’s my job. England, the UK, we have so many incredible young artists coming up.
“I understand why this has changed, but I really love being a woman and a female artist. I’m really proud of us.”
