Adil Ray Hits Back At Racist ‘Good Morning Britain’ Viewers Who Say He’s ‘Too Muslim’

Good Morning Britain presenter Adil Ray has hit back at racist viewers who told him he was ‘too muslim’ to host the show.

The 46-year-old was drafted in to replace Piers Morgan who quit after refusing to apologise for comments he made about Meghan Markle.

Taking to Twitter, Ray wrote: “This week on Twitter I’ve been called a lefty liberal, a true Tory, a race-baiter, anti-English, too Muslim and not Muslim enough.

“Phew! Back on your box next Monday @gmb for the next instalment.

“Thank you so much for giving us your time and watching. I’m loving every minute.”

The radio and TV presenter received tons of support from fans after sharing the post.

One viewer said: “You can’t please them all. I think you’ve been brilliant on GMB, looking forward to seeing you there next week.”

Another added: “I think you’re sound if that’s any help. I love watching you on the telly, you always come across really well.”

“I see you have got a lot of abuse this week Adil,” a third penned. “If I’m honest, I didn’t know much about you so I watched GMB to give you a chance and I think you are a fantastic presenter. Remember, there will always be haters trying to put you down, but just continue to be you, my friend.”
