Aldi Has Launched Seven New Flavours Of Gin Including Strawberry Marshmallow And Rhubarb And Custard

Aldi has launched seven new fun flavours of gin to try and it includes lemon sherbert, strawberry marshmallow and rhubarb and custard – which means you’ll be left spoilt for choice!

This week, Aldi has launched seven different flavours of gin and they appear to be retro-inspired as there are flavours such as lemon sherbert and rhubarb and custard.

The new range also features a strawberry marshmallow flavour and there’s even a fruity passionfruit and orange flavoured gin too.

A part of Aldi’s The Infusionist range, the gin liqueurs are priced at a reasonable £9.99 each per 50cl bottle.

As well as launching new flavours under The Infusionist range, Aldi has released some under its Haysmith’s brand.

Customers will be able to choose from raspberry and thyme, strawberry and peppercorn and grapefruit and orange.

Those under the Haysmith brand are priced at £15.99 each for a 70cl bottle, which makes them £6 more expensive than the gin liqueurs.

Each flavour is now available to pick up in-store or order online through the Aldi website, as they do a drinks delivery service.

The offer has been available since 2016 but due to the UK lockdown, the supermarket has seen an “unprecedented demand”, so it may take a little while longer to arrive at your door.

A message on the website states: “Things are rapidly changing within the UK at the moment and we are having to adapt to support our customers and staff.

“At times like these, we strive to provide the best standards to ensure our customers can order with confidence and receive a smooth and hassle-free delivery experience.

“Due to the current exceptional demand, we have had to make some changes to our usual delivery services. We have extended our delivery time frame for all deliveries to 3-10 working days.”

Of course, during this difficult time, you can’t just pop to the shop for a bottle of gin if you don’t want to order online. Make sure you’re also getting some essential items when you next head to the supermarket.

In other food-related news, parents are making their kids whipped strawberry milkshake using a few simple ingredients – and it’s going down a treat!

Meanwhile, Cadbury Dream bars are now back on sale in the UK for a limited time only, which means you should probably stock up whilst it lasts.
