Alison Hammond broke down in tears during a recent appearance on This Morning, as she emotionally celebrated her 46th birthday.
The presenter was flooded with heartfelt messages from her celebrity pals including Dr Zoe Williams who said: “Happy birthday, Ali, here’s your card, I’ll open it for you. It’s got a pink flamingo on it, it’s a bit soppy.”

Eager to hear what she had penned, Alison said: “I love, I like a soppy card, read it to me.”
Zoe read: “Alison, happy birthday to you. Have the best day and weekend – as much as you can. Some years bring the best and the worst.
“We’re almost through with the worst bits. The best bits are just getting started.”
Sobbing, Alison said: “That’s just lovely, that was lovely. Thank you.”

A tribute video was also shared at Grand Central Station in Birmingham, which is the 46-year-old’s hometown.
However, many viewers pointed out that there was a spelling mistake on her balloon, which read: ‘Happy Birthray.’
