Amber Heard has revealed in the Johnny Depp defamation trial that her role in Aquaman 2 may be ‘cut completely’.

The actress reportedly claimed that she’s unsure whether she’ll appear in the franchise sequel, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, as she was ‘released’ from her contract before filming even began.

She testified: “They released me from my contract. And, I fought to stay in it, and they kept me in it; I just don’t know how much I’m in, actually, of the final cut.

Heard went on to claim: “I don’t know if I will even be in the final cut or how much I will be. It was difficult to stay in the movie.”

This isn’t the only time that Heard has addressed her Aquaman role in the defamation case.

She has also alleged that she ‘lost opportunities’ and got ‘dropped’ from roles after filing a restraining order against her ex-husband.

According to Entertainment Weekly, she claimed: “I had to fight really hard to keep my career after I got my [restraining order against Depp].

“I lost opportunities. I got dropped from jobs and campaigns. I fought to keep my job and the biggest movie opportunity I had to date [with] Justice League with the option to [star in] Aquaman. I had to fight really hard to stay in Justice League because that was the time of the divorce.”

Elsewhere in the trial, the mum-of-one has been forced to slam claims that Depp got her the role in the Aquaman franchise.

At the time, she was being cross-examined by the Pirate of the Caribbean’s star lawyer, Camille Vasquez, who made the suggestion.

The attorney asked her: “Johnny Depp got you Aquaman, didn’t he?”

In response, Heard claimed: “I got Aquaman for myself.”
