The high-profile trial, which concluded in June, found Heard guilty of defaming her ex-husband and she was ordered to pay $15million to Depp.

In an interview with Today, Elaine Bredehoft said Heard could ‘absolutely not’ pay the $10million.
There has now been a further twist to one of the biggest stories of the year, with Virginia appellate lawyer Steven Emmett saying that Depp could explore other options if the 36-year-old actress cannot afford to pay the damages.
He told the New York Post: “If she doesn’t have the money, then his avenue, while she’s pursuing an appeal, is to try to execute on property she owns.
“[This is] where you summon the debtor to come to a court and his lawyer would get to ask her questions saying ‘what property do you own, what real estate do you own, what vehicles do you own, what jewellery do you own, what art collections’.”
If this was the case, Heard’s assets would then go to auction and the money raised during this process would then be used to pay Depp.
Since the defamation case has ended, Depp has been seen playing at concerts all across the UK and is now set to star in a new film.
It has been confirmed he will play King Louis XV in Jeanne du Barry and he has been seen sporting a new look.
