A hand surgeon has cast doubt on Amber Heard’s ‘closet story’ during her defamation trial against ex-husband Johnny Depp.
Dr David A Kulber, who apparently treated Depp’s severed finger after an alleged 2015 altercation between the former couple, has testified.
During his testimony, he referenced a claim made by the Aquaman star, in which her wardrobe became ‘damaged’ due to the actor’s supposed ‘rampage’.

When asked by Heard’s lawyers if Depp’s injury could have stopped him from causing the alleged damage, Kulber claimed: “He couldn’t move his third and fourth fingers… It’s a more bulkier splint right after the surgery.
“So it gets in the way… He could attempt to grab someone. But I don’t know how successful he would be.”
Earlier on in the high-profile case, Depp took to the stand and testified about the alleged incident.
Claiming that he was hiding in the bathroom while his ex-wife was ‘ranting and banging on the door,’ the Pirates of the Caribbean star alleged: “I was a mess, I was a wreck, I was shaking… I just didn’t understand why, why all this was happening.
“She walked up to me, she reached and grabbed the bottle of vodka… and then just kind of stood back and hurled it at me.
“And it just went right past my head and smashed behind me. So I stood up and walked behind the bar, and there was a larger bottle of vodka, the kind with the handle, you know?”
The actor then testified that Heard picked up the bottle and ‘threw it at him’.

Depp continued with his testimony, alleging: “And it made contact and shattered everywhere.
“I honestly didn’t feel the pain at first, at all. I felt no pain whatsoever. What I felt was heat… I felt heat, and as if something were dripping down my hand.
“And then I looked down and realised that the tip of my finger had been severed. I was looking directly at my bones sticking out. And the… meaty portion of the inside of your finger.
“Blood was just pouring out. And at that point, I think that I went into some sort of… I don’t know what a nervous breakdown feels like, but that’s probably the closest I’ve ever been.
“Nothing made sense. And I knew in my mind and in my heart… This is not life. This is not life. No one should have to go through this.”
Heard has denied this allegation.
