Amber Heard has claimed that she ‘carried a makeup kit at all times’ when in her relationship with Johnny Depp.
She testified: “I am typically photographed in LA when I leave the house, paparazzi types of photographs. No woman wants to walk around with a bruise on her face.”

The actress then showed the courtroom a colour corrector compact, which she referred to as her ‘bruise kit’.
Heard alleged: “This is what I’m talking about, a colour correction kit. I used to carry it with me all the time.”
The Aquaman star testified that the compact would allow her to ‘counteract’ colours, claiming: “The idea is that you want to counteract whatever colour is on the bruise.
“After a day or two you get more purple, so you want to go with redder tones.”
When testifying about the makeup kit, Heard clarified that the palette shown as evidence was ‘not, obviously, the exact one I used to carry’.
This isn’t the only time Heard’s alleged bruises were addressed in the trial.
Melanie Inglessis, the star’s MUA, testified that she ‘helped covered up the alleged markings’ before an appearance on James Corden’s The Late Late Show.
The artist claimed: “When I came to the penthouse to do Amber’s makeup, she had injuries.
“She had two light – I’m not a medical expert – but it looked like somebody had headbutted her lightly so she had discolouration here under both eyes and the bridge of the nose and she had what I would call a split lip or something on the lip like a gash or split lip.”
She continued testifying, alleging: “I just did makeup, just a little heavier.
“We covered the discolouration or bruises with a slightly heavier concealer, one that had more of a peach undertone that I would normally not use on Amber, but peach does cancel blue, so I did that under the eyes.
“Though Amber always has a red lip, it’s one of her signature looks, I remember clearly talking we had no other option that night than to use a red blood, like, a really red lipstick to make sure we could cover up the injuries on the lip.”
