Amber Heard has been accused of ‘lying’ by a makeup brand over claims she made in the Johnny Depp defamation trial.
The actress’s lawyer, Ben Rottenborn, has reportedly claimed that the star used Milani’s Conceal + Perfect All-in-One Correcting Kit to cover up alleged bruises during her marriage.
This has been disputed by the company, which has taken to TikTok and pointed out that the product wasn’t released until 2017 – a year after Heard filed for divorce from Depp.

The now-viral clip by Milana plays The Backyardigans song ‘International Super Spy’ and shows an employee pointing out the conceal and correcting kit in a catalogue.
A caption reads: “You asked us… let the record show that our Correcting Kit launched in 2017!”
However, it’s possible that Milani may have released samples earlier.
During the trial, lawyer Rottenborn presented the makeup kit in court during an opening statement.
According to Yahoo! News, he claimed: “This was what she used. She became very adept at it.
“You’re going to hear the testimony from Amber about how she had to mix the different colours for the different days of the bruises as they developed in the different colouring and how she would use to touch those up to be able to cover those.”

A friend of Heard’s has reportedly spoken out about the makeup disputation, describing it as a ‘sad day’.
Defending the star’s attorney, they apparently said: “Ms Heard’s lawyer was using an example of the kind of makeup that she used, but it’s a sad day when a makeup company uses that as an opportunity to make light of what victims of domestic violence have to do to hide the results of the abuse they endure.”
