Tory MP Andrea Jenkyns flipped a ‘middle finger’ at a crowd and the video has now gone viral.
The Education Minister was outside Downing Street on the day of Boris Johnson’s resignation (July 7) when she made the gesture.
Reportedly, she also shouted at the crowd: “He who laughs last laughs loudest – wait and see, wait and see.”

After the clip went viral, many people took to Twitter and criticised the politician, branding her ‘unprofessional’.
Responding to the footage, one penned: “Our new Education Minister! For f*** sake…These Tories just get worse and worse! Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. No excuses. Andrea Jenkyns has to resign.”
“Red card for Andrea Jenkyns! This is disgusting and unprofessional behaviour from the Education Minister. No excuses. Educate yourself,” a second tweeted.
A third pitched in, saying: “Completely inappropriate and unprofessional. There are going to be many situations like this in her role, what will she do next time? What if a child says something she doesn’t like during a school visit? Andrea Jenkyns is clearly not cut out for the job. She must resign.”
Anonymous Addresses Boris Johnson Resignation
Following the social media reaction, Jenkyns released a statement and said that she’s ‘only human’.
She stated: “On Thursday afternoon I went to Downing Street to watch the Prime Minister’s resignation speech.
“A baying mob outside the gates were insulting MPs on their way in as is sadly all too common.
“After receiving huge amounts of abuse from some of the people who were there over the years, and I have also had seven death threats in the last [four] years, two of which have been in recent weeks and are currently being investigated by the police, I had reached the end of my tether.
“I responded and stood up for myself. Just why should anyone have to put up with this kind of treatment.
“I should have shown more composure but am only human.”
