Andrew Neil Slams Harry & Meghan’s ‘Inconsistent’ Story, Warning Them To Get It ‘Straight’

Andrew Neil has slammed Prince Harry and Meghan’s ‘inconsistent’ story, warning them to get their version of events ‘straight’.

The broadcaster made the comments in response to the couple’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey while appearing on This Morning.

During the two-hour chat, the Duke and Duchess dropped several bombshells and revealed there had been ‘conversations and concerns’ about Archie’s skin colour before he was born.

When Oprah asked if her son being ‘too brown’ would be an issue, Meghan responded: “If that is the assumption you are making, that is a pretty safe one.”

Sharing his view on the matter, Neil said: “Both Harry and Meghan had different stories. Meghan had said that it had been raised with her several times. Harry said that it had been raised with him once, at a different time from Meghan.”

Neil was then asked about whether he thought it was a good idea for Piers Morgan, who sensationally quit Good Morning Britain over comments he’d made about Meghan, to appear on his forthcoming news channel GB News.

He said: “We’re open to all sorts of offers.

“I think Piers would be a huge asset. But I wouldn’t want to transfer what he was doing for Good Morning Britain straight to GB News. I would want to do something different.”

He added: “We’ll try to come to a mutual agreement but he won’t be short of offers, so no doubt there will be a bit of competition.”

“He won’t come cheap either, I would have thought.”
