Actress Annie Wersching has died aged 45.
She is widely known for playing the Borg Queen in Star Trek: Picard and FBI agent Renee Walker in 24.
Wersching also provided the voice and motion capture for the character of Tess in The Last Of Us video game.
Sadly, her family has confirmed the tragic news in a statement.

Wersching is survived by her husband and their three children, Freddie, Ozzie and Archie.
Her husband, Stephen Full, writes: “There is a cavernous hole in the soul of this family today. But she left us the tools to fill it.
“She found wonder in the simplest moment. She didn’t require music to dance.
“She taught us not to wait for the adventure to find you. ‘Go find it. It’s everywhere’. And find it we shall.
“As I drove our boys, the true loves of her life, down the winding driveway and street, she would yell BYE! until we were out of earshot and into the world.
“I can still hear it ringing. Bye, my Buddie. ‘I love you little family…’.”
A GoFundMe page has been set up by Handmaid’s Tale actress Ever Carradine for Wersching’s three children.
The page says that The Vampire Diaries actress was diagnosed with cancer in 2020, but continued to work and battled it in private.
At the time of writing, $140,359 has been raised in her name, with The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke being among those to donate.
Neil Druckman, the director behind The Last of Us video game and co-creator of its TV series, also donated and shared a tribute on social media.
He tweets: “Just found out my dear friend, Annie Wersching, passed away. We just lost a beautiful artist and human being.
“My heart is shattered. Thoughts are with her loved ones.”
While Naughty Dog, the video game’s publisher, writes: “We at Naughty Dog are deeply saddened to hear of Annie Wersching‘s passing.
“We keep her in our hearts and memories, and we hope that her family may find peace during this time.”
Her 24 co-star Kiefer Sutherland has also paid tribute, writing: “The world lost a light today.
“Wersching was one of the greatest actors I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with and my friend.
“My heart breaks for her young family. May she be remembered for the beautiful person that she was.”

Fans of the actress are also paying their respects, with one writing: “RIP to an absolute legend, thank you Annie Wersching for bringing Tess to life.”
A second adds: “Rest in Peace, Annie Wersching. I’ll always remember her impactful performance as Tess in The Last of Us.”
While another person comments: “I am deeply saddened about the news of Annie Wersching’s passing. She was a force to be reckoned with.
“Sending my heartfelt condolences to her loved ones, may she rest in eternal peace.”
“Rest in peace to the very kind and talented Annie Wersching,” writes another.
