Ant and Dec have revealed the reason ‘I‘m a Celeb’s’ Snoochie Shy is allowed to wear earrings on the show.
Fans were confused as they thought jewellery would be considered a luxury item.
However, the hosts, whose real names are Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, explained why the radio host was wearing them on Thursday night’s episode.

Donnelly asked: “Eagle-eyed viewers will have noticed Snoochie’s earrings… did you see them?”
To which McPartlin responded: “Yes, you couldn’t miss them Declan!”
He then continued: “We asked about this, apparently, the rule is… they can bring jewellery in, as long as it’s not expensive or they don’t have any sentimental value.
“So, if you bought her those earrings… sorry and sorry!”
Viewers took to Twitter to air their feelings on the matter, with some directly asking the presenters why the fashion accessories weren’t confiscated.
One said: “Hey @antanddec how come Snoochie gets to wear earrings, surely that’s a luxury item?”
“I’m surprised Snoochie is allowed to wear her big hoop earrings, I would’ve thought they be classed as a luxury thing?” added another.
Someone else said: “How is Snoochie allowed to wear those hoop earrings in I’m a celeb?”
Others claimed the celebrities were ‘getting away with more’ this year, with some also suspecting Naughty Boy had hair gel and was visited by a barber.
They commented: “Snoochie has earrings, Louise has a set of bracelets, Naughty Boy has hair gel… what happened to no luxury items?”

Elsewhere, the duo also revealed the items the stars tried to smuggle back into camp after spending three days in isolation.
Donnelly said: “So the celebs are all back in the castle… but that doesn’t mean they didn’t try it on getting back in there, what you didn’t see was the contraband we caught them trying to smuggle in.”
McPartlin added: “We’ve got boiled sweets here, Naughty Boy’s brooch, breakfast biscuits – why? And of course, look, fake tan, a nail file, and Vaseline.”
