Jennifer Lopez’s resurfaced Ben Affleck comment has gone viral following their Las Vegas wedding

The ‘On The Floor’ singer appeared on Ben & Jen: A Dateline Special in 2003 – before they broke things off the following year – and spoke to journalist Pat O’Brien about marrying the actor.

Lopez said: “I think I’m going to stay with Jennifer Lopez, but my name will be Jennifer Affleck, obviously.”

Joking about ‘JLo’ becoming ‘JAf,’ she added: “It doesn’t have quite the same ring to it, but you’ve gotta make sacrifices!”

After finding out they tied the knot, people have taken to social media and discussed the footage.

One penned: “What a great love story they are made for each other. Love them together.”

Another added: “Their chemistry is unique!”

“She still acts like this today… She is in love with this guy,” a third wrote. “I hope it works this time. I wish they could have had a couple of kids. Oh well.”

A fourth weighed in, writing: “Best couple at the moment… Go Bennifer.”

“Time stood still for them! What a great love story!” added another.

According to Page Six, the newlyweds broke up in 2004 as they couldn’t see their future plans aligning.

The insider reportedly said: “As hot and heavy as their relationship was, they were on very different paths at the end of it.

“Jennifer was ready to settle down and have kids, but Ben wasn’t keen on giving up his bachelor lifestyle just yet. In the end, she got tired of waiting for him to come around — even though it broke her heart to end things.”

Later on, the 52-year-old called their split her ‘first real heartbreak’.
