The tragedy was confirmed by the British businessman’s employers at the digital marketing company, Bisnow.

Alongside a photo of Friend, they penned: “With profound sadness, we share some extremely difficult news: Will Friend, who took Bisnow to new heights as CEO, passes away at 33.”

Many others have also taken to social media and paid tribute.

“Oh my God, so sad. My condolences,” one wrote.

Another penned: “Oh, Bevin. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you.”

“I’m so heartbroken to hear the news and I’m sending you and your family SO so so much love and many prayers,” a third said.

Prince’s pal, actress Odette Annable, also shared an emotional post about Friend.

She wrote: “The unimaginable has happened and we have to say goodbye to another friend, @britwilliam. My best friend @bevinaprince beloved husband.

“Will, it feels surreal writing this. Mostly because it feels like you were just getting started. The life and love that you gave to my best friend made it feel okay that we were thousands of miles apart.

“As I sit in your beautiful home, looking out onto the ocean, I keep thinking about what a gift you gave to Bevin. What a gift you gave to everyone who knew you to witness the passion that burned in your soul.”

She continued: “At only 33 years old, you did it, and you went out like no other in a blaze of glory. May you rest In peace you charming, witty, beautiful British man who loved the s*** out of America. I love you.”

A GoFundMe page has been set up to raise money in honour of the 33-year-old.

Apparently, the donations will go towards his and Bevin’s business, Recess, and the Special Operators Transition Foundation, which offers veterans and their families support.
