Beyoncé has left Super Bowl viewers outraged after making a shock announcement following Usher’s halftime performance.
The ‘Crazy In Love’ singer, 42, has released seven studio albums throughout her career, becoming one of the best-selling music artists of all time.
Last year, Beyoncé began her highly-anticipated Renaissance World Tour, in support of her seventh album, and it broke several records.
Following a year of such highs, it wouldn’t come as a shock if the star wanted to take a break from her work.
So when Beyoncé appeared in an ad at the Super Bowl and revealed she has no plans to stop anytime soon it came as a huge surprise…

Beyoncé, who is often referred to as ‘Queen Bey’, dropped ‘Act I: Renaissance’ in July 2022 and it featured tracks such as ‘Break My Soul’ and ‘Cuff It’.
The ‘Halo’ singer’s album, which celebrated the club era, was critically acclaimed for both its joyous sounds, as well as Beyoncé’s vocals.
And while fans couldn’t get enough of it, they couldn’t help but notice that at the beginning of the album’s title, it read ‘Act I’ – alluding to the fact that there was more to come.
Of course, Bey’s fans were right and in 2022, the ‘Single Ladies’ artist revealed that it was just the beginning…
On her website, the star wrote: “This three-act project was recorded over three years during the pandemic. A time to be still, but also a time I found to the the most creative.”
Since the announcement, fans have been left with many questions as to what ‘Act II’ will look like and when it will be released.
Finally, it seems we have some answers…
Beyoncé appeared in an advertisement for US communications giant Verizon, titled ‘Can’t B Broken’, during the Super Bowl.
Throughout the advert, the singer attempts to overload Verizon’s capacity by ‘breaking the internet’ in numerous ways, such as dressing as Bar-bey (Barbie) and running for president.
She then instructs: “Okay, they ready. Drop the new music.”
Immediately after, the 42-year-old released two new songs, titled ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ and ’16 Carriages’.
The album, which is due to come out on March 29, is expected to be country-influenced.
After hearing the news, many of Beyoncé’s fans have taken to X (formerly known as Twitter) and shared their excitement.
One writes: “Like I’m just so happy to witness and live in the same lifetime as the greatest musical act of all time, s***.”

Another adds: “I’m still in disbelief Beyoncé did a commercial last night, teased new music in given commercial, subsequently released two singles and announced the release date of the album… IT FEELS SO GOOD TO BE ALIVE.”
“I love Beyoncé so much, her artistry, her drive, her performances, her vision, her kindness, her talent. I LOVE THIS WOMAN,” somebody else says.
However, not everyone is pleased with the way Beyoncé revealed the news.
Some people are taking to social media and calling out the star for ‘overshadowing’ Usher’s performance at the Super Bowl.
One X user tweets: “Usher must’ve walked off that stage and been P***ED that Beyoncé overshadowed his halftime show by dropping two new songs and announcing ‘Act II’.”
A second says: “She trying to steal the spotlight. If it works, it works.”
While another person comments: “Beyoncé stealing Usher’s thunder with a 30-second commercial is some nasty work omfg.”
