Bill Gates, who recently said the Covid pandemic won’t be over until 2022, has opened up about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and reportedly dubbed it a ‘huge mistake’.
The Microsoft co-founder revealed that he had ‘several dinners’ with the alleged sex offender on Anderson Cooper’s CNN show, as he hoped Epstein would be able to help him raise funds for global health issues. However, he now regrets it.
The 65-year-old said: “It was a huge mistake to spend time with him, to give him the credibility of being there. There were lots of others in that same situation, but I made a mistake.”

He continued: “I had several dinners with him, you know, hoping that what he said about getting billions of philanthropy for global health through contacts that he had might emerge.
“When it looked like that wasn’t a real thing, that relationship ended.”
Back in June, a spokesperson for Gates told the Insider that he had ‘absolutely no business partnership or personal friendship’ with Epstein prior to his death. It was said that if the pair ever spoke, it would have been to discuss philanthropy.

They added: “It is extremely disappointing that there have been so many lies published about the cause, the circumstances and the timeline of Bill Gates’ divorce.
“The rumours and speculation surrounding Mr Gates are becoming increasingly absurd and it’s unfortunate that people who have little to no knowledge are being characterised as ‘sources’.”
