Billie Eilish, whose new boyfriend is 10 years older than her, has apologised for the resurfaced videos which show her mouthing a racial slur.
In a statement on her Instagram stories, the 19-year-old admitted that she ‘wanted to barf’ at her past behaviour.
The ‘Bad Guy’ singer wrote: “I mouthed a word from a song that at the time, I didn’t know was a derogatory term used against members of the Asian community. I am appalled and embarrassed and wanted to barf that I ever mouthed along to that word.

“This song was the only time I’d ever heard that word as it was never used around me by anyone in my family.
“Regardless of my ignorance and age at the time, nothing excuses the fact that it was hurtful, and for that I am sorry.”
She added: “The other video in that edited clip is me speaking in a silly gibberish made up voice… something I started doing as a kid and have done my whole life when talking to my pets, friends, and family.
“It is absolute gibberish and just me goofing around, and is in NO way an imitation of anyone or any language, accent, or culture in the SLIGHTEST.”

Recently, Eilish’s boyfriend, actor Matthew Vorce, also faced backlash for posting ‘homophobic and racist’ content on social media.
Allegedly, the 29-year-old is said to have used the N-word, referred to women as ‘s****’, used homophobic slurs, and mocked Asian people for wearing face masks.
Plus, he’s believed to have shared a disturbing quote from the movie American Psycho.
It read: “When I see a pretty girl walking down the street, I think two things. One part wants me to take her out, talk to her, be real nice and sweet and treat her right.
“The other part of me wants to know what her head would look like on a stick.”
