Billy Ray Cyrus is seemingly engaged to his much younger girlfriend – who he met while working on his daughter Miley’s hit TV show.
‘Achy Breaky Heart’ star Billy Ray, 61, and Australian singer Firerose, 34, were introduced on the set of Hannah Montana in 2011.
Billy Ray and his superstar daughter, Miley Cyrus, 29, both starred in the Disney Channel sitcom from 2006.
Firerose told Live With Ryan and Kelly last year that Billy Ray had long been a ‘phenomenal supporter’ of her music.

She said: “We actually met 10 years ago on the set of Hannah Montana.
“He just really believed in me and continued to tell me to pursue my dreams no matter what and not give up.
“The music industry is not easy, but he’s just been a really, really incredible support.”
The ‘Old Town Road’ hitmaker’s alleged engagement to Firerose comes just six months after his wife of 28 years, Tish Cyrus, 55, filed for divorce.
Cyrus cuddled up to his new lover – whose real name is thought to be Johanna Rosie Hodges – in a recent Instagram post with her flashing an enormous diamond ring.
While not referencing the ring or engagement directly, he captioned the post: “Happy Autumn,” alongside an orange love-heart emoji.
Firerose moved from Sydney to LA when she was 19.
Some reports suggested she was younger than her future stepdaughter – ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer Miley – but a recent People interview stated she was 34.

Cyrus and Firerose’s ‘engagement’ has been the subject of intense speculation in the media recently, after she was ‘spotted’ wearing the diamond rock, as per The Sun.
The pair have collaborated on a number of songs, including a 2021 track called ‘New Day’.
The Sun also reported that the couple’s whirlwind romance has impacted Cyrus’ relationship with Miley.
The outlet said that father and daughter have unfollowed each other on Instagram amid growing ‘tension’.
Perhaps adding to that ‘tension’ is confusion over when he and Firerose started dating.

In her divorce filing earlier this year, Tish noted that she and Cyrus hadn’t lived together for more than two years.
An insider told the outlet: “Billy is happier than he has been in a long time with Firerose.
“There had been problems in his marriage for a while.
“He and Tish have been on and off for the best part of a decade, but things had been over for some time before the announcement in April.”
They added: “Not everyone sees his decision to move on so quickly in the same light though.
“There has been some tension with Miley, which is sad to see, but everyone is hopeful that they will be able to get over it soon enough.
“Thankfully, his other kids do not have an issue with him and he has just collaborated with his youngest, Noah, on a song.”
Billy Ray has five children with Tish Cyrus – daughters Brandi, 35, Miley, 29, and Noah, 22, and sons Trace, 33, and Braison, 28.
