The reality TV star took to Instagram on June 22 and shared a ‘trigger warning’ with fans about her horrific story.
She wrote: “A pretty terrifying few hours as our Pedro was hit by a van… (who drove off and left him for dead yesterday without stopping to see if he was okay).

“Yesterday we thought we’d lost Pedro, as he chased another dog across a road and was hit by a speeding van.
“I got a call from Max saying he probably wouldn’t make it and I had to urgently come to the vets and say goodbye.
“I don’t think I’ve seen anything like what I saw and of course, we were in pieces.”
After saying how ‘grateful’ she was to her family for being supportive, Felstead directed the last part of her post to the unknown van driver, writing: “To the van driver who hit Pedro, you are vile, immoral and I feel sick to my stomach you’ve got away with this.
“Well, that’s of course until karma gets you …. Maybe you drove off and left an animal for dead because you were speeding? You should feel ashamed!”
Alongside the written piece, Felstead shared a series of distressing images of Pedro covered in stitches.

The 32-year-old then gave her followers an update, revealing that her pooch is ‘enjoying lots of cuddles’.
She continued: “A lot of you are asking how he is today and let’s just say he’s deffo got his appetite back… Still waiting by Wolfie’s chair for the odd droppings of food when it’s feeding time.
“He’s also, of course, been enjoying lots of cuddles on the sofa…(which he’s not normally allowed on!”
