Two years after Bob Saget’s tragic passing, it’s been confirmed that his widow, Kelly Rizzo, is in a relationship with a Hollywood actor.
When it was announced that Saget had passed away on January 9, 2022, the world reacted in total shock.
The legendary comedian had died in his room at a Ritz-Carlton hotel in Orlando, Florida, aged 65.
At the time, Saget’s family shared: “He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter.
“Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world.”
In the weeks following, a statement was released to E! News that disclosed that Saget’s cause of death was head trauma.
It read: “The authorities have determined that Bob passed from head trauma.
“They have concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it, and went to sleep. No drugs or alcohol were involved.”

Rizzo, who tied the knot to Saget in 2018, shared a heartbreaking tribute to the comedian, which referenced the pair’s shared love of food.
“We were in our happy place together whenever we were out at a restaurant, hotel lobby bar, or even our own kitchen,” she reminisced.
Later on, the 44-year-old would open up about struggling to move on with her romantic life.
“You get to a point where you separate what earthly Bob would have been like,” she told the Daily Mail.
“And he would have been like, ‘You can’t move on! How dare you! How could you!’. But when I hear his friends and family say, ‘No, he would want you to be happy’, and when you get to that point, then you feel at peace with that happening.”
But now, Rizzo has debuted her new partner, and he’s also a famous face.
She walked the red carpet at a Janie’s Fund charity event, held prior to the Grammys, alongside actor Breckin Meyer.
Meyer, 49, is an American actor who is best known for his role in films such as Garfield: The Movie, Road Trip and Clueless.
Speaking to E! News, Rizzo expressed: “It took a while to get to the point where I’m like, ‘OK, I think he’d be happy with it’.”
Rizzo also revealed that Saget’s three daughters – Aubrey, 37, Lara, 34, and Jennifer, 31 – have given her new relationship their blessing.
“It’s wonderful, it just meant so much to have their blessing,” she told the outlet. “They’re just angels. And to have them support is so meaningful.”

Previously, the 44-year-old told Fox News Digital: “I’d love to think that Bob would want me to be happy too, but to hear it from them is just a totally different level.
“And it meant the world just to hear, ‘Hey, we trust you. We love you. We know you’re going to do what’s right, and we want you to be happy’.”
