Boxer Kenneth Egano has died at the age of 22.
Egano was an up-and-coming star from the Phillippines.
He made a name for himself in numerous high-profile events, including boxing legend Manny Pacquiao’s ‘Blow by Blow’.
With a record of seven wins and one defeat, Egano’s tragic passing has led to tributes pouring in worldwide.

Egano fought Jason Facularin in an eight-round match organized by MP Promotions last week.
The event, held at the Imus Sports Gymnasium in Cavite, Phillippines, is a weekly show hosted by the 44-year-old Pacquiao’s company.
After surviving a knockdown during the fight, Egano displayed resilience and made a strong comeback, with the outcome remaining uncertain until the final bell rang.
Egano, a bantamweight, won the bout through a split decision.

However, before the judges could announce the scores, he collapsed on the canvas.
He was rushed to hospital, where he was diagnosed with a brain haemorrhage and placed in a coma.
The Daily Mail reports that Pacquiao immediately pledged to cover the young boxer’s medical expenses.
The Philippines’ Games and Amusements Board confirmed Egano’s unfortunate death.
The board has expressed its condolences and mourned his passing.
The board wrote: “The entire agency of Games and Amusements Board (GAB) mourns the passing of professional boxer Kenneth Egano.
“Our condolences to Kenneth’s family, relatives and friends. May his soul rest in peace.”
Pacquiao also paid tribute to Egano and highlighted the sport’s inherent dangers.
He says: “There is nothing more precious than human life.
“Boxing is truly a dangerous sport and the boxers deserve nothing but respect as they put their lives on the line. Other sports you play, but you don’t play boxing.”
Egano’s opponent, Facularin, also issued a statement in the wake of his death.
He says: “I didn’t expect that this will happen when we did our best. Why did it happen to us? Sorry that it happened. I hope you’re in a good place.”

Boxing fans have also taken to Twitter to pay tribute to one of the sport’s rising stars.
One person writes: “In a fight that he won too. That’s beyond horrible, God rest his soul.”
Another says: “RIP Champ.”
“Why all boxers deserve respect every time they step in the ring,” adds a third.
Another fan says: “My condolences are with his family and friends. Sending my love.”
While somebody else writes: “Really sad day for the sport. A big loss for boxing.”
“Loneliest sport for a reason, boxers put their life on the line every time they fight,” another writes.
While one fan says: “Rest in peace and condolence to the whole family.”
